Experienced with dogs of all sizes. Professional walking experience. Willing to do free meet and greets before any service provided so you know you and your pup can trust me. I am a college student at St. Louis University. School comes first for my scheduling, but I still have plenty of time to help out including weekends. I personally own a Vizsla, which is a highly active dog breed. I’m used to going on walks and I really enjoy them. When caring for other pets, I want them to be as happy as possible. I have no problem taking pictures, cleaning the yard, being patient when feeding them, etc.

Melanie stayed at our home with our two dogs. She was very attentive and took great care of the dogs. I would highly recommend her as a sitter. She sent pictures throughout the stay and gave us daily updates. We were very happy with her and will book her again in the future.
Melanie was great for three walks for Mollie and she did really well.
Melanie always kept me updated on how Mollie was doing and then would send a separate message. Mollie slept really well last night which is the sign of a good long walk.
Melanie is the absolute best! She is so great with Finn and I feel so comfortable when she comes over to let him out when I’m working.

I care for pets in your home following all of your rules! Supervision is important to me. If taking dogs on a walk I do prefer a harness. I also will take away ripped up toys from your dogs temporarily to avoid choking hazards. Let me know any medications, I’m happy to administer.

Please let me know any health concerns with the dog. I know many dogs have digestive problems every now and then, which is fine, but I would like to be aware ahead of time. Also, let me know if you’re looking for long-term or short-term care.
A typical day
You can set the plan for my time with the dog. If your dog needs a long walk, I’m there. If your dog loves your backyard, I’m also there. If you want to mix up inside and outside play, I’m good with that too!

*UPDATED* I’ve recently begun my clinical rotations for college. This does put me at a busier schedule, but it’d break my heart to delete Rover. I’m free on weekends still, but I will sadly not be available during the weeks until 4pm. If you’re looking for an overnight sitter or an evening walk/check in, please inquire! If you’re looking for a routine 12pm walker, I will sadly not be your best fit.
