Pet care experience
I am pet CPR trained and also for humans a wilderness first responder. I love animals and, I have owned dogs my entire life. My current careers involve the ski industry and working as a wildland firefighter for the BLM here in Utah. Growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota meant I spent a lot of time outdoors doing chores and also caring for animals. I currently own a heeler naked Captain Pickles who enjoys backcountry skiing, long hikes and backpacking trips. I would be delighted to meet your pupski(s) and go on an adventure! I am able to come to you and pick your pup up for hiking/bike rides/runs or walks. I have reliable and very safe transportation and am going to put your pups needs first and foremost.

Melanie is a dog lover to her core. She has an immediate connection with every pup she comes in contact with. My dogs love her like part of the family. They both get so excited when they see her. Sometimes, she takes my dogs for a walk or hike when I have a long day at work and they are well taken care of, and happily exercised when they return. I am so thankful for the connection she has created with my pups and the confidence and trust that I have developed in her.
I have known Melanie for 15 years and in that time, she has always been a dog owner. With her own pups and when she is caring for other dogs, she is attentive, responsible, and dedicated to spending time outside. She's also knowledgeable and her dogs are always well trained! She communicates well and is very reliable for scheduling. Your furbabies will be in excellent hands!

A typical day
We love hikes and bike ride. I have a Millcreek canyon pass so able to do off leash with your pup if you’d like. Travel to Park City frequently and more than willing to walk/hike/run/bike with your dog.
