Pet care experience
I have always had a passion for animals, especially dogs. Before we moved out of state, I was the go to dog caregiver for my grand-dogs, my parents’ dogs, my sister’s dogs, and my neighbor dogs. I would either go to their homes to care for them or they would come to mine. I would walk them along with my dog or when I had more than one dog. I can’t live without pets!

I was very hesitant to use this app and to have a stranger take care of our dog, but thankfully someone like Melanie is here and I couldn’t be happier! She treats our Cali like her own and loves on her and makes her feel safe and happy. She communicates very well and sends many pictures to keep us reassured that everything is going okay. I definitely recommend her (unless you want her during a time I need her because I only will go to Melanie the next time we need a dog sitter!!). If you’re on the fence, fret not!! So grateful for her and how she took care of our dog daughter!
Melanie was amazing with our Archie. She truly loves and cares for them as her own children. I felt at complete peace knowing he was in great hands. And he had a blast with her dog Georgina. I also received daily updates with photos which made my day!
Melanie was very good to our Sadie! She sent me pictures and kept me updated everyday and took very good care of her. Highly recommend!
Melanie was a wonderful sitter. She made me feel very comfortable inviting a stranger into my home while I am not there. She followed my pet care instructions and I can tell by my cat, Bailey's, attitude that he was pleased with her service.

If I would care for your pets at my home, I would make sure to abide by all of your instructions. Your pets would have to get along well with our Bernese Mountain Dog and our domestic cat. Both are very friendly and passive. However, if caring for your pets in your home, I wouldn’t bring my pets and would again follow all of your instructions, caring for your baby or babies like I would my own. They are our family!

I love to make sure I meet your pet where it’s at. If it loves to play fetch, let’s play. If they love to run, let’s run. If they need a break in between. Let’s do that. I have many years of experience and volunteered as a young adult at a shelter so I have experience with my types of personalities.

I work from home where I have a flexible schedule. We don’t have family in the area, so I love to stay busy with walking so I would love to take your dogs out walking when mine gets too hot!
