**About me** Hi! I'm Melanie and have always been an animal lover. I have plenty of animal experience, from working with pets to amazing South African wildlife. I have been fostering and training service dogs for six years. I have worked full-time for a professional dog walking and pet sitting company for three years. I am currently working full-time as a professional service dog trainer. I have a BSc in Animal Biology and have worked in vet clinics in the past. I have a black lab named, Tulo, and he is 1 year old. **About my home/services** I only accept dogs that are crate trained. Your dog must be crate trained so that they may come to work with Tulo and I. At lunch, they will get a play break with other dogs. My commute to work can sometimes be an hour, so your dog must do well in the car. Your dog must be quiet in the house, as I do have neighbours upstairs, and be okay if left alone for 1-2 hours. I can send updates with a photo through text or email so you can see how much fun your furry family member is having. Any dietary or medical issues or restrictions are not a problem, and you can rest assured that your pet's training will be kept up while staying with me. Please bring your own personal pet food/bowls, leash, collar, halti and any other equipment if needed. Toys, pet bed, and crate are optional and any other belongs you wish your pet to have while you are away. **About my neighborhood** I have a backyard that the dogs can play in. We can go for lovely walks through the neighbourhood. I also live near a park with many trails that are great for hiking. **What to expect** Your furry friend will enjoy lots of cuddles and love. They will enjoy walks or hikes, and playtime too. They will also have lots of downtime and relaxation with me at home. **Special rules or requests** Your dog must be good with other dogs, of ALL ages. Your dog MUST be crate trained in order for them to board with me. I understand how hard it is to leave your furry family member at home when going away. While leaving them in my care, you can rest assured that they are getting plenty of love, care and exercise. Please make any behavioural or health concerns known. They can be addressed during their stay and handled accordingly.
