Pet care experience
I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and cats. I love playing and cuddling with pups and practicing training for a good mental workout. I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for my friends and neighbors. I can administer medication and bathe dogs if needed. I also know clicker training. In my spare time I’m usually working on a craft project at home or spending time outside at the park. Whether your pup wants to have an outdoor adventure, a nice day around the house, or soak up some sun in the backyard, they’re sure to be in the best care and have a fun time with me!

Melanie consistently takes great care of our Pala when we’re away.
Melanie was so great, she took such good care of my cats when I was away. She played with them, cleaned their litter boxes and even vacuumed and washed all their dishes! One of my cats is 18 years old and has a fairly intense medication schedule, Melanie administered it all and updated me each time (with photos and little updates on how they were doing). This was my first time leaving my cats in quite a while and I was a little anxious about it but Melanie took the best care of them and calmed all of my anxieties. Could not recommend her higher!

Keeping your pets safe is a top priority. I always check that harnesses/leashes are on correctly before going on walks. I’m comfortable with crating dogs before leaving if that is something you prefer.

I don't have any breed preferences. If it is a bigger dog, I ask that it is able to walk well on a loose leash. I would like to know if there are any medical needs of the pet or any certain accommodations that would need to be made for them before I sit for them just so I can make sure they are getting the best possible care while I'm with them.
A typical day
I love to play and do fun training exercises with dogs, or take them on walks around the neighborhood to smell all the things. If I’m walking your dog, let me know if they have a favorite spot so we can be sure to visit it!

I’m currently job hunting, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m only booking a week in advance right now to avoid any potential schedule conflicts, but can easily accommodate any scheduling needs!
