Pet care experience
Because I have pets of my own I know how important it is to make sure my own animals are well cared for when I am away so I do my best to provide that same peace of mind for other pet owners. If your dog has a routine, I'll make sure to stick to it. If he has medical needs, I am comfortable providing those. If you want text, photo, or video updates every hour, say no more! I'll send you all the updates your heart desires! Our pets are our babies and I want to make sure you have the utmost peace of mind when leaving them with me. I work full time but I typically go home during lunch to let my own dog out and of course I would do the same for yours. And in the evenings/on the weekends I love going for long walks! I am close to multiple parks, the Katy Trail, and of course dog-friendly uptown where I love taking my own pup into any and all dog friendly stores. Not to mention all the cuddles your pup could ask for. I allow dogs on the bed and the way I see it, the more the merrier! Please note I have a cat and she's very dog friendly (she will groom your pup if he/she lets her!) however if your dog is not cat friendly we might not be the best match. So if you want to take a vacay and leave your dog with someone who you can trust, send me a note and let's set up a meet and greet to go from there.

Melanie is phenomenal! She has several years of experience working at a zoo, you can tell because she is very skilled at introducing and reinforcing good etiquette and tricks your pet may know or is learning. She is active and loves playtime with all dogs. I appreciate how she gives frequent updates, I can tell she loves my fur-baby like one of her own! Consistently look to her for favors and will continue to!!
Melanie has dog sit for us multiple times and done an excellent job each time. She's enthusiastic, trustworthy, and responsible and our dog seems to love spending time with her. Melanie keeps the dog engaged and active, while still keeping him disciplined and providing a sense of normalcy by adhering to his normal schedule. Melanie has no problem handling detailed requests (administering medicine, sending us the occasional photo, etc.), and even leaves the house looking better than when she arrived! We highly recommend her as a dog sitter.
