Pet care experience
I have had multiple dogs through out my life! I am the type of person that would rather spend my time with dogs than other people! I see a dog on the street I will ask to pet it, no matter what! Animals are way better than humans.

We had never used Rover before but at a last minute decision to avoid the kennel, we found Melanie. Luckily she was available for our trip and at a price we could afford. Melanie allowed us to come for a meet and greet, and it felt like a good spot for our dog. The best thing we learned after being with Melanie, is that we will not be using a boarding facility ever again. Melanie was wonderful! Melanie kept in touch with us the whole time with pictures and updates. We could see the smile on our dogs face. We could see when we got home that she was well taken care of, and not dirty and beat up like she had been after the kennel. We appreciate the care that Melanie gave to our dog, and best of all, the peace of mind we had knowing she was being taken care of. Thank you so much Melanie, to you and your family, for loving on Blue for us. I think she may be a little bored now. I'll take that as a good sign!!! =) We will definitely be using Melanie again in the future.

I have a fenced in a yard, a dog park about 15 min away, and a lake that I personally like to take my dogs on a walk at. I am the one in my family that walks my dogs on a daily basis unless I ask one of my kids to do it.

A typical day
I love walking dogs, it is my time to detach listen to my podcasts and let the dogs get exercise while I do! I love the part of my day when I get to walk my dogs!

I work the night shift at a hospital. My nights I work change every week, but I do get my schedule for 8 weeks at a time, so planning around it, it not difficult.
