Pet care experience
I've worked as a vet tech for 6 years at a local clinic, and I've been house sitting for several area families for 3+ years. I have years of experience administering insulin to a diabetic golden, giving medication orally to cats, etc., in addition to my work as a vettech. I know warning signs and symptoms and when you contact your vet, if necessary - though I'd much rather everything goes right, and I get to spend my time snuggling your babies!

I will love your babies just as much as I love mine! I'll likely have whole conversations with them, make up songs, snuggle, go for walkies, leave dog or cat tv on during the day if you prefer! Whatever guidelines, schedules, behavioral rules you need me to follow, I will do it. If you're working on training, I will practice with them while you're gone. I will never leave a mess in your house, and I always clean up after myself! No one deserves to go out of town and come home to a mess.

A typical day
I like to stick to your schedule as much as I can so your pets can have some normalcy with a stranger in their house! So whatever you like to do, I’ll do it, too! Snuggle on the couch and watch movies? Go for long walks? Practice tricks for treats? Great! For walkies, my Desi-dog and I love the greenways trails, and local parks, and I’m certain your dog will, too! So many smells and different locations around Springfield!

I work at a local veterinary clinic as a vet tech M-Th 7:00 - 6:00pm, but I’m open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! I’m pretty flexible.
