Pet care experience
I used to volunteer at the pet shelter and loved seeing all the new dogs that came in. After I realized I couldn't take them all home I found out about this dog sitting site. This is perfect for my miniature poodle, Molly, who has other pup company now and I get to host a bunch of lovely pup faces. Most of the money I get from dog sitting funds my passion for art. I started out on Rover.com and now I'm looking to expand a bit and I'm very excited. :)

I'll have to say that this wasn't a great stay. It was really hard to reach her, whether it was throu her phone or Rover message. So it made it hard to make arrangements. She had also booked stays with other pets during our booked stay without her mentioning anything about it or even asking us before hand if we were ok with it. Which it's not that big a deal for us, but we have a pitbull and not all dog owners are comfortable with that. She should had let us know. It seemed my dog was left in her kennel most of her stay, and really long hours at the time because when we picked her up she had a kennel rash on her side. She never sent us any updates on how our pet was doing. Finally we asked to extend our stay which she agree to, but pick up was really inconvenient. She was at work most of her day and we couldn't pick up till 10:30 pm.
Unfortunately, my dog was not well cared for and smelled of cigarettes.
Thank you Melanie for taking such great care of Sheldon - chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. He was so happy it was clear he had a wonderful time! Highly recommend this sitter!

I don't have any breed preferences but I do own a male cat and would need the dog to be cat friendly. I'd also like to know if the dog requires any day medication or special care.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks My home is located near several parks located in south Philly. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog may sleep anywhere in my home that he/she wants. Time I'll spend with your dog I do have a day job but besides that I am almost always home and will be spending most of my free time with your dog.
