Pet care experience
We are a husband and wife team who love to pet sit! We do not have children so your pet will have lots of attention. We have two super friendly doodles that love to play with and entertain our guests . We watch other dogs and they live in a social setting so it is a MUST that your pup get along with both large and small dogs. When your pet stays and plays with us they are allowed everywhere we are . They are allowed on furniture and even to sleep with us if you allow them. 👉NO Pitt bulls or Pitbulls mixes, Rottweilers, bulldogs, German Shepards, or any of the high prey drive breeds 👉We do not have the experience or space needed for these breeds. 👉We apologize and wish you the best in finding a great sitter, but we will not make any exceptions. 👉We also REQUIRE a meet and greet prior to your stay! 👉We also require your pup to be current on rabies, bordetella , Lepto and parvo vaccines 2 weeks prior to their meet and greet or stay. 👉If you are not able to do a meet and greet prior to your stay we will not be able to accommodate you 🤗. 👉The meet and greet assures us that your pet will be a good fit as well as gives you piece of mind that your pup will be in safe caring place . We send pictures and video updates am and pm to let your know what your pet has been up too throughout the day!

Melanie & Darryl are top of the line pet caregivers. This was our first time using Rover for our dog Ozzy. Ozzy is our little baby and I worry about him so much when we have to leave him, but Melanie and Darryl took such good care of him. He played with their dogs and a few other dogs they were watching while we were away and he had a great time. Melanie sent me picture text and messages about him every day about how he was sleeping and eating. This made my vacation so much better knowing he was doing great and having a blast! You don’t have to look for any other sitters these wonderful people are the best. So glad I picked them.
Melanie and Darryl were fantastic! Super communicative, professional and understanding. I was in Zion for the day and they took my pup out for a walk. My dog is very timid and Darryl handled him so well! Easing in slowly and giving my dog a chance to warm up to him, which I really appreciated! Highly recommended them.
I highly recommend Melanie to care for your furry loved ones. We visited Hurricane on vacation and needed someone to drop in and care for our dogs while we went to Zion. I instantly felt comfortable leaving our 2 dogs in her hands while being far from home. She is professional and attentive. She took great care of our babies leaving me feeling comfortable being away from them. She sent us lots of pictures too.
I dealt mostly with Melanie and she was totally professional and also so incredibly personable! We received pictures and videos of Cupcake every day and it was evident how well she was being cared for. I will absolutely book with Melanie going forward!

We have a 1/3 acre fenced in yard with no neighbors to the left or behind our home. We never use our front door when we have guests and we have secure Wooden gates separating our home to the garage to ensure no one access to unfenced areas . 👉We seperate all dogs at meal times so that your pup can eat at their own pace and so that they will not eat each others food.

We need to know if your dog gets along well with others large and small. Does she/he have food allergies, or food Aggression Does she/he have any fears? Does your dog sleep quietly through the night?
A typical day
We are up at 6:30 am for their first bathroom break. We play ball, frisbee and chase. We eat breakfast following play time. After breakfast we go out back out for more play. For those who don’t want to play, they can just relax wherever they would like. After 2nd play time then we rest inside! We allow your dog to rest wherever they would like even the couch if you allow! Our 3rd play time is generally 2-3 hrs later, 4th play time 2-3 hrs later then 5th play time is generally before dinner and then last out is usually around the fire pit just relaxing and enjoying the stars!! We keep your dog very busy during their stay, our doodles take their jobs seriously, and make sure your dog will have a great time!! My husband is usually up until midnight. Some doggies watch tv with him. For the doggies that are tired and ready for bed. I get them tucked in for the night.

Availability
We have a flexible schedule ,so the doggies don’t get board and have lots of interaction, attention and exercise. My husband and I are runners and love to hike so if you want we can run and hike with your dog or even take them out on the side by side!
