Hi! If you’re looking for a sitter in your area, let me know. I have a fenced yard with lots of room for dogs to run around in a safe environment. I have two small dogs. One is high energy and loves to play. The other is a sweet old guy who mostly snoozes the day away. I’m comfortable administering medications as well as caring for special needs. My number one safety rule while pet sitting is that I never, EVER allow a dog to be near my front door if someone is coming in, or leaving. My dogs and yours will be quickly shooed into the backyard during that time. I’ve spent my entire life as a small dog owner. There is nothing worse than a “runner’” situation. It won’t happen here.

Excellent! We boarded our dog for 1 week and another time for 1 day stay. Each visit was great, Melanie kept us updated with pics and texts to let us know how our dog was doing and interacting with other dogs she has. I really appreciated her timely updates, and she is great if you have a dog that needs meds (like ours). She is proficient at administering them... however you do it at home... she's okay with whatever method works. I really appreciate Melanie...she understands our needs and has a great home setup to provide for our dog. We will definitely use Melanie again!
Melanie was very hospitable from the greetings to pick up. She kept us informed and updated from day one. our dog was in a state of vacationing on his own and enjoyed staying with Melanie.
Melanie took care of our dog for ten days and was very accommodating to our requests and our dog's needs. She sent us updates and photos and let us know how and what our dog was doing. We are so happy to have found her, after having had some bad experiences. Melanie provides a safe and loving home and we we will return for her care.

My goal is to always make sure that the dogs I sit for are cared for, safe and happy. I don’t run a kennel. I’m only available to take 1 or 2 dogs at a time. I think everyone is happier when I’m able to give plenty of attention to all of the dogs in my home, rather than spread it too thin. I love doing what I do. It’s less about money and more about enjoyment for me. I want my clients to feel confident when leaving their pets in my care.
