Pet care experience
I have been professionally caring for animals since early 2014, and have been an avid animal love my entire life. I am a certified dog trainer - dealing with all breeds and ages. I train for obedience as well as working with dogs that are fearful or reactive. I dabble in working dogs and hope to gain more knowledge in that department. I have taken a First Aid & CPR class for dogs, as well as managing group play with a concentration in dog behavior. I have worked with dogs from 1.5 pounds to a 190 pounds. I have 6 dogs that range from house pets to working K9s. My husband and I live in a single family home with a large yard which has a fenced in grassy area as well as a lush forestI love all breeds of dogs, as they each have something wonderful to love. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about myself!

Melanie devotes her life to dogs. Dogs are her passion. She does not just like dogs, she loves them and understands them. Dogs listen to and pay attention to her as if they've known her all their lives. Her abilities with dogs come naturally and are a gift. I would honestly describe Melanie as a female Dog Whisperer. She is a mature and responsible adult with whom people could trust their canine companions.
Melanie is an outstanding person, I think so as well as our dog friends. I had the joy of working along side her for nearly a year watching dogs. She has a natural ability and a genuine concern for each and every dog that she meets. Mel quickly gained respect from all of our furry friends by showing them the love and compassion they all deserved. When I am ready to adopt my new dog Mel will be at the top of my list for dog-sitting!

What I would like to know about your dog is just a brief history and some general information on their personality/habits. For example, if they are spayed/neutered. Their age, if they get along with dogs, any allergies or health concerns. Any quirks, scared of men, kids, bikes, fireworks etc.
A typical day
Depending on your location we can either take walks around the neighborhood, your dogs favorite park or we can hit up a near by trail!
