Hi, my name is Melanie. I am 23 years old. I graduated from University of Minnesota with a B.S Animal Science pre veterinary track in May 2021 and i am currently in veterinary school at St George’s University (out of country). I come back during the summer and winter breaks to the La Crosse area. I worked at an animal emergency hospital and gained many experiences handling all kinds of situations and animals and was a veterinary technician at La Crosse Veterinary before I went to school. I also volunteered at the animal hospital at the U of M in rehabilitation, so I have experience with walking dogs that have had or have injuries. I have one dog named Rosie and a cat named Kinnick. I have had many sizes of dogs live with me ranging from Chihuahua to Great Dane. I am very trustworthy and have a lot of experiences with animals and I always look forward to playing and walking with your dogs and cats. If you have any questions just message me.

Melanie was excellent. We even had to book Melanie w/o officially meeting her. She gave us updates and photos and videos of Calypso. It was clear that Calypso had easily bonded with Melanie and looked forward to her visits. Melanie also gave insight with her mood and eating/drinking related behaviors which was nice to know that she was Mindful of our kitties health and wellbeing. The videos Melanie sent us showed it was obvious that Calypso felt safe and taken care of when Melanie came to visit. Would recommend, 10/10. We hope to keep Melanie around as a pet sitter as long as possible.
I so appreciated Melanie’s prompt communication and experience working with cats! I was traveling to a more remote location and it was so comforting to know she has veterinary experience and that Georgie would be in good hands. ?
Melanie was wonderful! She set aside time to meet our dog and was very patient while learning about all of Leah's quirks. She sent pictures and updates and was very helpful in taking care of our home and dog. This was our first time using Rover and our dog's first time with a stranger taking care of her in our house, everything went perfect!

I will be working full time at a veterinary hospital during the summer so I wi take jobs that fit between my shifts. Walking and sitting dogs is a nice hobby that I have been doing since I was 12.
