I am a dog lover with a 3 year old golden doodle, who loves to play with other pups. I am accommodating and happy to provide whatever is best for your dog - whether that’s leisurely walks, on-leash runs, socializing with other dogs at the local fenced-in dog park, playing fetch, or showering your dog in affectionate and unlimited petting! I have no allergies, so even the hairiest dogs are welcome. I have experience training puppies, and have been to puppy kindergarten. With enough notice, I can ensure your dog is never left alone if required. My partner works from home most days and I’m available to work from home too. I am a genuine dog lover and your dog’s health, happiness, and wellbeing are just as important to me as it is to you.

Melanie has grown up with dogs as part of the family since she was a little girl. She has been a very loving dog owner, which was highlighted by the fact that she considered the bottom part of her bunk bed as belonging to Fia. (Fia being the family's duck tolling retriever). At family gatherings, where there is often 5 dogs of various breeds, Melanie will be the first one sitting on the floor petting and playing with them. She also knows how to train through positive reinforcement and understands how to keep them healthy through proper food and exercise.
Where do I start? Mel loves dogs and dogs love Mel! Mel is an excellent dog sitter - she has looked after our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever many times. Mel has grown up with dogs and understands dogs - what they like, how much they need to be fed, what they should and should not eat, how much exercise they need, etc. I am totally confident leaving our dog in her hands. She is very responsible and respectful of your wishes as a dog owner. You could not ask for a better dog-sitter!
