Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Mel. I have plenty of experience caring for animals, growing up with family pets from a young age. I have cared for, and trained our family dog, a Yorkshire Terrier of 14 years and an English Bulldog. I also have experience looking after cats.

This is our first time using “Rover” & Mel. What can I say. Mel is truely amazing. She was fantastic with our dogs, caring, trust worthy, fantastic communication & made us feel very relaxed while we was away. Our 3 dogs really took to Mel & were spoilt rotten by her too. We will definatly be usuing Mel again & already have dates in mind. Mel is an amazing woman & fantastic with Dogs. I cannot recommend her enough ? xxxx
Mel and her partner have looked after Bailey very well and managed to bond with her even though this is not a dog that trusts new people easily. She was also very flexible on drop off and pick up time which helped.
Mel is a kind and sweet person . Who has great experience with old,new,big and small dogs! She has cared for a very old, visually impaired fury friend for many years now, who I have seen first hand living the best life, a dog ever could!

A typical day
I like to take walks to nearby parks so your pet can explore and exercise and when indoors I make sure your pet is happy by interacting with them and playing games or training to keep them mentally stimulated.

Availability
I am working part time in Southend/Leigh on sea and my shifts vary each week but I generally work mon-fri between 9am and 3pm. Can potentially do multiple walks/visits a week and house sitting now available. Details to be discussed.
