Pet care experience
I’ve dealt with dogs in every aspect of my life, going from adolescent to adult hood. I have trained and cared for a multitude of dogs while serving in the Air Force on a professional level. Had a few dogs myself, and assisted a veteranian at one point as an intern while in High school. I have a relentless passion for wildlife in general, but dogs always had a special spot in my soul for they are one of the most authentic entities on planet earth.

Mel was very flexible with my changing timing for drop off and pick up. He took great care of my dog and sent updates! Would highly recommend!
Mel has been phenomenal with my pit bull Diamond in the past. Mel is very comfortable around animals and you he is definitely a dog lover. He is loving yet firm with dogs and sets boundaries. He does very well with training dogs and I am very impressed with him. I am so grateful for how he has treated Diamond in the past. He has helped walk and dog sit for Diamond for days at a time.
Mel is a devoted pet sitter. He watched my dogs Holly and Griffin while my husband and I were on vacation. He treated them as if they were his own. My dogs were all smiles and wagging their tails when we went to pick them up and I even think they missed him when we left. He also paid close attention to their feeding schedule and other instructions we left. He made sure to find time to play with Holly as she loved playing "toy" as we call it. And even when he was not watching them he would ask us how they were doing which showed how much he cared. I highly highly recommend him to watch anyone's beloved furry family members.

I have a decent sized 3 bedroom townhome, with a fenced yard. I am extremely energetic, fit, decent size (6’1 185 LBS) optimistic and caring, but can also be slightly stern, disciplined and follow a principled schedule to keep your pets productive and safe. No problem handling the largest pets or the smallest of the small.

I am 100% free on the weekends, and is flexible during the standard work week. I.E Monday-Friday, but will be occupied with my day job from 0700 to 1500.
