Pet care experience
I grew up on a homestead where we had dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and even a horse! I love animals of every breed and have had a pet most of my life. A couple of years ago, my beloved dog passed away. We had a great life together having adventures for over a decade, living first in DC and then SF. I love having fur babies to take care of! I enjoy long walks, park time, hiking, running, snuggling, and giving lots of love! For our feline friends- I am happy to give lots of love and the space they need. I was very active with my dog until we found his heart murmur and a few other issues popped up which required twice daily meds, and lots of short walks. When he couldn’t walk, I would carry him to the park where we would soak up the sun! I am compassionate, patient, and very loving... here to support whatever your pets needs might be.

Mel is an amazing dog/house sitter. She kept us updated everyday with pictures and notes about Calvin. She took such great care of him (he is a bit needy) and left our home spotless. I will be using her again in the future. We were so lucky to find her :)
Mel was amazing when staying with my dog! She sent lots of updates and pictures and made sure my dog had lots of her favorite things - outside time and snuggles! She even helped with a few things around the house like bringing in the trash cans from the road. I would highly recommend Mel for any of your pet sitting needs!

Mel looked after my 3 large dogs while I was away. She sent regular updates on their walks, and other quirks my dogs have. My home was as I left it and my dogs were all happy. Mel was wonderful and I highly recommend her.

I have a house with plenty of space to explore and comfy couches to snuggle on. My large backyard is ideal for playing fetch or soaking up sunshine. I live in a neighborhood with lots of walking paths so lots of opportunities to sniff and explore!
