Well, I started my dog journey at 12-years-old when I volunteered for the Humane Society in my hometown. My mother never aloud me a dog, so I grew up mainly with cats and small rodents as a kid. Until...my stepmother brought a German Shepard and a yellow lab into the picture in my teen years. It was life-changing, I'm serious! So naturally, the moment I moved out of parents house, I adopted my best friend. My dog, Chai, came into my life as a rescue seven years ago, and now I also work at a dog rescue as my other job! Dog LIFE. I definitely believe that dogs improve the quality of your life and I know I certainly could not live without them!! I am just "that dog person"!
