Hey! I’m Mel :) ! I’m sure it’s not hard to tell from my pics… I LOVE dogs and cats! Caring for them began at a super early age and being outdoorsy made working with them a no brainer! From baby to elderly to energetic to medically sensitive - I’ve done it all! Thanks to years of working at a doggy day care & shelter, private clientele, and here on Rover! My care is curated to the comforts and routines of each specific pet. The house and yard can be the most fun playground or the coziest lounge, depending on the ever-changing mood! I don’t know if I can fully explain how fantastic Mel was as a sitter - but I’ll try! She took care of our 7 pets for a week when we were on vacation and was just the absolute best…don’t even bother looking for anyone else on Rover! She asked great questions in advance to learn about them and their routines and had incredible communication throughout our trip. She even handled a spontaneous nor’easter in a house that regularly loses power during storms with unflappable calm! We came home to happy and healthy animals and feel really grateful to have worked with her!
Mel was super flexible and communicative! She went above and beyond for my dog, Ollie, and even accommodated him when he was being a diva about going out in the rain. She even figured out how to put on his harness leash with no issues. She’s super professional, loves dogs and goes the extra mile! Would have her watch Ollie again in a second!

A typical day
A typical day begins outside for potty! Then, breakfast and a walk. After being back for rest, it's fresh air & stretch legs again. Dinner & lounge time follows with a night walk to cap the day off right! Pups arrive back to their parents' happy and relaxed after a lil vacation of their own!

Availability
A typical day teeters between engaging pups in the yard, long walks, hanging on the couch, playing music, and cooking. I’m able to provide plentiful attention because I work remotely.
