Update: We're planning a large home renovation starting in May 2024 and will last at least a few months. During this time we'll only be able to do house sitting requests and not host at our house. What can I say, I LOVE dogs, and honestly all animals! My husband and I lost our two elderly dogs last year, Navi and Reagan, just 6 months apart from one another. They were both around 15 and were adopted from Stray Rescue. We loved them so much and saying goodbye was incredibly hard. Hoping to do some pet sitting so we can have some dogs around to spoil again. Our main goal is to make the pets in our care as happy as possible. Growing up I had several dogs, bunnies, ducks, chickens, and a cockatiel. My husband grew up with cats, and cats love him! We went through training with our dogs, which was a great experience and has helped me better understand dog behavior and how to work with them. I completely understand being a neurotic dog parent, and can happily accommodate your dog's needs. I've used Rover to find sitters in the past and from my experience, I know how important communication is so that pet owners feel confident their pet is safe so they don't have to worry while they're away.
