Pet care experience
I have personal experience with bully breeds, special needs dogs, and the dynamics of a multiple dog household. I am also a volunteer at the local shelter; never met a dog I didn’t love, regardless of breed, age, or temperament. I’m comfortable with dogs with issues: jumping, strong pulling, resource guarding, and reactivity. I provide visits, walks, and overnights in your home. I am based out of the Olney area. I know how difficult it is to find a capable caregiver to watch after your dog, so I am happy to meet you before scheduling with me so you know your dog is in good hands!

I can not say enough great things about Mel. She took care of our cat Pearl for 10 days while we were out of the country on vacation. She came everyday in the morning and took pics for us. My cat does not come out of hiding for anyone but loved Mel and came out every morning for her !! That made me so happy. I will be using Mel in the future and recommend her to anyone. She is super friendly and an animal lover for sure. Thanks so much Mel.
Mel was great about being on time with medications and kept my senior dogs company while we were out of town. My pups were much less stressed in their home instead of boarding and were happy to make a new friend!

I cannot currently accommodate boarding at my house, as I have two dogs of my own. At your house I will try to mimic your dogs existing routine as best as possible, for potty breaks, feeding schedule, medications, and crating.

I am available during the week Monday through Friday in the mornings, late afternoon and nights; as well as most weekends all day. Happy to accommodate as best as I can.
