Mel: I have had a deep love for animals my whole life. There were always lots of animals in my house growing up. My family had a dog that I grew up with and we often fostered dogs as well. I got my very own dog in high school and started my first job at a dog daycare facility. I've been working professionally with dogs ever since and became a certified dog trainer in early 2021. I have completed several dog training courses and have shadowed 3 professional trainers over the years, as well as being a manager. The goal is to open my own training facility and Rover is a small step in that direction. Ariana: My whole life, there’s been nothing I love more than dogs and other animals. As a kid, I begged my parents relentlessly for a dog, and they had me prove I was responsible enough by caring for several family/friends dogs before they gave in and got our family dog, Zella. As I got older, I couldn’t think of anything better than getting to work with animals, and shortly after getting my own dog in 2020, I started working in a dog care facility and learned so much. My passion for dogs only grew from there, and I was lucky enough to meet Mel, who shared my vision for a home full of animals to love and care for, and together, we made it a reality by getting to do this job!
