Hello my name is Mekeyla Armitage. Some of my hobbies are photography, running and hiking. But my most import characteristic of all is I am an animal lover! Ever since I can remember, I have always had a furry friend by my side. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. As I continue to grow older my love for animals continues to grow too. I currently have four kitties at home (Taco, Peanut, Mouse and Bunny) that I adore! My pet care experience comes from having my own pets, caring for friends/families pets and volunteer work. I would love to be able to care for your furry friends as well!

Mekeyla was amazing! As soon as we met her, I knew our family dog (and fish) would be in good hands. It was reassuring to know that she was at our home and spending time with him. He is very anxious and has several medical issues. She was also comfortable giving him his daily insulin injections. He usually loses weight when we are away from him. This trip however, he maintained his healthy weight. She communicated frequently and is a very kind person. I am thankful I found her and will be having her care for our pets in the future.
Mekeyla is a trustworthy sitter. All my fur babies enjoyed her taking care of them.
She is excellent with my animals. They love her as we do. She takes them for walks and loves on them. Always dependable and kind.

I am able to provide any kind of care your pet needs. I believe I am very gentle and am very good at reading an animals body language which is a key to what kind care is required. In your home my goal is to make your animal feel as comfortable as possible while their family is away. I will treat your animals as if they were mine. While dog sitting I am very willing to take your animal on daily walks and make sure to keep them as stimulated as possible while you are gone.

I would need to know if your dog has any behavioral tendencies especially around other animals or public places. I think it would also be important to know any health issues your animal has. It is also important to me to know what kind of personality you pup has!
A typical day
I would love to do fun activities with your dog! I would make sure to get daily exercise in with your animals. My neighborhood is very animal friends so a sniff around the neighborhood is always an option. One of my favorite spots to go is the Clearfork Reservoir to walk the hiking train. We could always take a trip to the Marshall dog park in Ontario. To keep your animal stimulated I would love to play a game of fetch or tug of war!

Availability
I am currently a student at Ohio State University so a lot of my time goes towards study and class time. However my schedule does give me a lot of free time to be able to care for your pets and their specific needs!
