"Master" of the Animals!
Pet care experience
I have been taking care of my own dogs for as long as I can remember, but once I started showing and training dogs around 9, I never looked back. I've been trusted to train, care for, and handle dogs as small as pomeranians to as large as mastiffs. I have had clients trust me, even as young as 12, to care for and train their animals while under my supervision. I've also worked with ages as young as 6 weeks and as old as 13, and have even taken a class during my undergrad that was all about managing and caring for companion animals!

Mekenzie took great care of our little guy while we were away for an evening. She was communicative and prepared, and made us feel perfectly at ease. She sent pictures throughout the night and responded quickly when I checked in. Our 10-year-old pup was so relaxed and happy with her all evening! Highly recommend!
My dogs just love when Mekenzie comes to visit! She always treats them like they are her own. We would highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs.

I believe that communication is always key when caring for someone else's animal. It makes me feel most safe when owners write out instructions on how to best care for their pets, especially if medication needs to be administered. I do not mind spending the night at a client's home if that is what they desire so that their pet can feel as normal as possible!

I dont necessarily have any breed or age preferences, however I believe communication is key when working with animals. Let me know if your animal has any allergies, special needs, etc before our visit so I can accommodate as necessary.
A typical day
Dogs that I watch will get a lot of exercise through walks and park visits. Some dogs, with consent from owners of course, will even get the opportunity to get a pup cup from Starbucks with me!

Availability
I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in Animal Sciences at Purdue. With that, I have a rather flexible schedule with afternoons, evenings, and select weekends to care for other people's animals. I do not have any of my dogs down here at school with me, so yours is sure to get a little extra love!
