From a very young age, I have been a true lover of all animals! I majored in Fish and Wildlife Biology at UMASS Amherst. While obtaining my degree, I began work as a Veterinary Assistant. I worked with a wonderful veterinarian who firmly believed in hands-on-training. After working there for a year, I earned the promotion to Veterinary Technician. I'm highly comfortable around all animals and capable of administering medications (oral, topical or injectable). After graduation, I moved to California and continued work as a Veterinary Technician at a large animal hospital facility. After three years, I decided to move back east and pursue a career opportunity with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. After a highly competitive application process, I was selected to be a Vermont State Game Warden. I attended the VT Police Academy and was certified as a Full Time Police Professional. I was thoroughly background checked and vetted before obtaining this position. If chosen to be your pet sitter or dog walker, you can rest assured that your pet and your home will be safe and secure in my care. After five years as a Game Warden, I resigned to be able to be home full-time with my son. My son is now school-age but I have the pleasure of having my 4.5 yr old daughter with me. As a full-time "stay-at-home" Mama, my schedule is extremely flexible and accommodating. I offer more than just pet sitting and dog walking--I am able to accommodate requests for vet visits, dog washing, yard clean-up, fill your fridge upon your return home, hotel room visits...you name it.
