I started taking care of my neighbor's dog when they were on vacation when i was ten and from there, I started doing the same for other people in my neighborhood. I enjoy the company of an animal and can give them unconditional love and cuddles and just the right amount of food. Not only do you as an owner benefit from this, but I do as well. Taking care of animals is stress relief for me. :-)
