Pet care experience
Hello! I am a recent grad from University of Washington and have been a part of Rover for about three years now. I have had many weekly clients over the years, however my most recent ones have moved out of town, so now I have availability to take on more clients. I have experience caring for dogs (large and small), cats, bunnies, and bearded dragons. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and was the go-to neighbor for pet sitting. When I went to college, I signed up for Rover and maintained numerous regular clients (at the same time) throughout all four years. I have done my research on training commands and I understand there are many different ways dogs and cats could be trained and would love to learn what your pet responds to best. If your pet needs medication, no problem! I am able to administer oral medication, even to picky eaters! I have a car, so I am able to travel to any area in Seattle with more ease and accountability than having to rely on public transit. There aren't many things that can brighten my day like a pet can! Meghan looked after my old man, Evan, for 10 days while I was out of town. She was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Evanrude seemed relaxed and happy upon my return.
Meghan was the very greatest dog-sitter during our recent vacation out-of-state. We live in California, but were going to be in Seattle, WA, over the 4th of July holiday for a multi-day bicycle rally with our travel trailer and two dogs. I contacted Meghan about our plans two months ahead of time and she was happy to arrange to come to our trailer each day, walk our dogs, give them a snack, and put them back in. We ended up being gone during the day longer than expected so Meghan was even willing to drop in a second time for a quick "pee break" for the dogs. She sent nice photos and updates, walked and gave them a snack, and gave us incredible peace of mind knowing that they were safe and sound while we were out riding far from where our trailer was parked (with others). If ever we make it back to Seattle, we will most certainly call on Meghan again and we can't recommend her highly enough if you're looking for a responsible person to watch your pet!
Meghan does a great job walking my 2 large breed dogs! She always sends pictures and updates, and I can tell they are having a good time. She is flexible and willing to pick up extra days when they come up or change the time of a walk if needed. I will definitely be booking Meghan again!
Meghan was great! She fed my cat Sophie twice a day while I was gone, and sent me lots of updates and photos of the two of them cuddling. Will definitely hire her again if she's available. Thanks Meghan!
