Pet care experience
**we do live on a military installation but can meet outside the main gate for drop offs & pickups!** Hi there! I have a husky mix of my own named Kira, so I'm very familiar with the love and care dogs deserve and need. She's super friendly and loves playing with other pups! I signed up with Rover as an opportunity for her to have a friend to play with while allowing me to help you out with caring for your babies when you're away. We have an active lifestyle, so plenty of walks will be had! I've grown up around dogs and know how they are considered family and deserve to be treated as such. I strive to give pet owners a peace of mind while they're away and to ensure their dogs feel safe and comfortable. Plenty of photos and updates will be provided when your pet is in my care. I look forward to hearing from you and can't wait to meet your little one!

This was the first time I’ve ever left my pup to go on a trip so I was a little apprehensive. However, Meghan eased my anxieties. My pup was well taken care of and came home tired and happy. During her stay I received lots of updates and pictures of her having fun. Love the communication! Highly recommended!
I can’t say enough nice things about Meghan and her dog Kira! We had a family emergency and Meghan met with us right away to do a meet and greet. She was super flexible and accommodating with our timeline as we had to change our pick up date. During Sancho’s stay we got lots of photos every day and constant communication about how he was doing. She made our pup feel loved and the best sitter we’ve had so far! I’d book her over and over as our sitter. She went above and beyond what was expected and I can’t thank her enough.
Meghan welcomed our puppy as if he was their own. We got tons of pictures and videos and as a pet parent it eased my mind. Puppy got tons of play time and walks. He had a great visit and we are happy to use Meghan for her service again!

We have a yard that isn’t fenced, but live in an area with plenty of sidewalks for multiple walks each day! My dog will also help keep yours company while we’re all at home, giving them a friend to play with. If you prefer your dog be crated at certain points during their stay we can do that also (for sleeping, while I step out to run an errand, etc.).

A typical day
Having a husky myself, I know the amount of physical and mental stimulation that’s needed. We have plenty of dog toys and puzzles and of course plan to get outside for them to explore the new smells of the neighborhood!

I’m currently a full-time graduate student, so I’m home all day just about every day! This makes it easy to ensure your dog is given the love and attention they deserve.
