Pet care experience
I have been working with animals since 2007. No animal is out of my comfort range but my favorite has to be mans best friend, the dog! I have worn many hats but my favorite is my most recent of own boss. Getting to work for myself doing what I love has really shown me even more about myself and my passion for animals. I provide boarding with a little extra love just like at home. I can give medications both oral and injection. Can house multiple pets at once for people with several fur kids. All feeding is included and anyone staying over 5 days will receive a complimentary bath before go home. Currently working as a dog trainer for a local facility, very much allows me the flexibility of being my own boss. I work a range of hours allowing for flexibility in caring for pets at both my house or their own. I have a pet friendly fenced in back yard and dog friendly neighborhood for walks. My Husband works from home all day and will assist in any potty breaks and socialization if I am unavailable. The pets will get socialization time with my dogs and cats while in the home. If your pet is not pet friendly I can also accommodate that.

Megan and her family took excellent care of our two high energy GSP’s. We reached out based on reviews needing boarding because of a family emergency with only about 2 hours notice. Our dogs are our babies and leaving them for a week with strangers was a daunting to choice for us. Training, love, care and affection was what our dogs experienced the entire week. We were given regular updates and photos and learned very quickly we had found a family to care for them as we do. We could not be more grateful and highly recommend Megan.
Meghan was amazing! We were nervous as this was our first time using Rover and I have a lot of anxiety leaving our dogs. Meghan has such a calm and charming personality, and walked us through the process. She made everything so seamless and easy for us. She sent us daily videos and updates, and responded to any message right away. I literally could not ask for a better person to do this! I fully trust Meghan and will be using her going forward, as long as she has availability. Thank you so much again, Meghan, you were so wonderful!

I do not descriminate against breeds but I do like full disclosure on all past behavior issues or concerns. I love challenging breeds or dogs who need extra help with their socialization skills. I have a background not only in pet sitting but I have worked in kennels, I was a Veterinary Technician for 9 years, I have worked in grooming salons so I am really comfortable in any and all environments with pets. I am fear free ceritified which means in practice fear free handling techniques and desensitization.
A typical day
My back yard is ready for all the dog games wether it be fetch, tug or chase! Your pup with have a plethora of toys to choose from and plenty of playmates as well! We will visit local parks as well especially if they have a favorite park nearby!
