I have grown up with and loved animals my whole life. I volunteered at Happy Tails all through high school and spent two summers in college interning at a veterinary hospital. I've watched animals that needed daily medicines, specific diets, walks, and lots of love and am comfortable with all of it. Can't wait to get to meet your pets!

She was great!! My doggie child basically didn’t know the difference between being here and at home.
It was scheduled for 1030-1130AM pick up for my dog. I texted her 30 minutes before at 10am that I am on my way. When I got there, no one answered the door and the sitter didn't pick up my call. After 10 minutes, I started freaking out and had to call rover emergency line. Turns out she was at a sunday mass with a poor cell reception service. She got back home around 11am. I was incredibly worried for my dog and it was not professional of her to do that. Mistakes do happen but least you could do is let me know before you leave for sunday mass.
Great cat sitter. Allie was happy, fed, and comfortable when we returned home.
We trusted Meghan with your toy poodle last weekend, it was his first time away from us. Meghan has a lovely space, she's caring, played with him his favourite games and sent us pics throughout. I was very happy with the way our little one was treated. I highly recommend Meghan.

I have a fenced in yard and no pets myself. If I am watching your animals I am able to administer a variety of medications if needed, can crate if that's what they're used to, and have no problem having pets sit with me on the couch or bed as I grew up with lap cats and dogs (or large dogs that believed they were lap dog). If you don’t want your pets on the furniture definitely let me know, because my default is to let them sit or lay with me 24/7 😁I am active and can walk or run with dogs to keep them on schedule and help get their energy out.

Let me know if your cat or dog has any dietary needs or medications. In addition, please let me know how active your dog is. I know from experience that size is not always the strongest indicator of how much exercise and outdoor time a dog needs and want to be sure I do what is best for your pup.
A typical day
With dogs I love taking walks especially with all of the parks that I live near. I love playing fetch and running around in the backyard to get their energy out. Then I enjoy sitting on the couch with a dog next to me ready for all the pets. With cats I love playing with toys like lasers and balls to keep their minds stimulated just as much as I love snuggling with a good book and a purring cat on my lap.

Availability
I work at a school so am gone during the day, but don't work at night or on the weekends. In addition, I have holiday breaks and summer off and have random three day weekends or half days frequently.
