Hello there, my name is Meghan and I have the unique experience of not only growing up surrounded by all kinds of animals my whole life, but I also have worked in Veterinary Medicine, and have a strong passion for all living creatures. From the time I can remember my family owned cats and dogs, and of all different types and breeds. We have had everything from Great Danes, to Chihuahuas. That being said, I have experience with all types of kiddos - both very big, and very small! Throughout my time in Veterinary Medicine as a Client Service Coordinator and Shift Lead, I learned a lot about Veterinary Medicine and though I did not ever begin teching, I have picked up quite a bit of medical knowledge pertaining to both dogs and cats. I am trustworthy, reliable, and will treat your furbaby just as I do my own - and my boy, well he is my pride and joy and I honestly consider him my son! Haha! Not only do I have a multitude of experience with pets both in care taking and within veterinary medicine, I have also been a dog sitter for many family friends and neighbors in the past. I have stayed in contact with old clients even, and maintained longstanding relationships with their pets even after I left the field! I used to have pet parents just pop by the hospital to visit me, or call and ask to speak with me directly because they knew I would always take care of their pup or kitty. I miss that, and having since left the veterinary field I thought this might be a good way to get to spend time with the critters I love most.
