I currently live with my brother's 80lb rescue pit-bull mix who is the sweetest block of pure muscle I've ever met. He's a huge snuggle bug and lap dog. He is very strong and, if he's allowed, will try to chase the neighborhood rabbits, so I have a lot of experience in walking big, strong, sometimes stubborn dogs. When he has a lot of energy I enjoy packing my backpack with a bowl, water, and treats and taking him out for long adventures. I was recently doing overnight house-sitting and light house-keeping in Williamsburg during the weekends for a chocolate lab, who took medication twice daily, and for a cat who suffered from an epileptic disorder and required oral medication via syringe every 4 hours. Prior to this summer I lived in South Carolina where I completed my Bachelor's in Public Health and did occasional cat-sitting and house-sitting for a former Spanish professor. As a baby my family had a very sweet and timid rescue golden retriever, then a small lhasa-apso who lived to be 17 and passed just a couple years ago. I absolutely love all animals and have never lived without one. I can't wait to adopt my own, but for the time being I'd love to help you care for yours and welcome them into the family!
