Since I can remember, I have always loved dogs. I can remember my mother taking me to the pet store and I would pick out a dog, give him/her and beg my parents to let me take the dog home with us! When we finally adopted our first family dog I was in heaven. She was a whippet / greyhound mix (Jenny) who had a lot of energy. It taught me the meaning of responsibility, as they rely on you for everything. Food, love, pets, treats, walks etc. My family has been rescuing greyhounds ever since I can remember. I also donate to the cause as well as to the ASPCA for animals that don't have a voice. Currently, I have a 12 year old chihuahua who he has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. With a lot of time, patience, love and serious training he now trusts me and other dog and gets excited to play. My other fur baby is an 8 year old shihtzu named Mia. She is a true angel, always wants belly rubs and loves everyone and every dog she comes in contact with. The two of them are the best of friends and are my world. I would love to take my experience and help others when they need care for their babies, because I know how important and hard it is to find a trusting person to watch and care for them when you need to go out of town.
