Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Meghan; here is a little bit about me! I am currently in school studying to be a dentist. I grew up always having at least one dog in the home. I began pet/house sitting in college as a way to make extra income by doing something I enjoy, but I didn't exactly realize how passionate I would become about caring for pets! I absolutely love having the opportunity to meet and hangout with sweet dogs and cats. When looking after your pets, my goal is to keep them safe and follow any routines/structure that you have implemented for them. Beyond that, my goal is to spoil them a little extra with fun and anything they love, whether that's playing fetch or belly rubs. I cherish the relationships that I have gotten to develop with pets and families over the years. It brings me so much joy to be greeted by pets who are happy to see me from previous experiences with them. Ultimately, that is the goal! I hope to become your go-to family addition when in need!

Meghan is awesome! I’m so thankful we found her. We had to leave our dog with a sitter for a month while we were overseas, and we wanted to be sure to find someone top-notch who would make our dog feel loved and at ease. Meghan exceeded all our hopes and expectations! From the moment I met her, I knew it was going to be a great situation. Our dog spent the month with Meghan and her husband being loved on and cared for— she was snuggled, walked, played with, and even groomed! We received regular updates and photos from Meghan, which was much appreciated. We will definitely hire Meghan again!
Meghan is an excellent pet sitter and I would highly recommend her. Recently we asked her to watch our 3 dogs and 1 cat while we were out of town (no small task). We knew Meghan would be great for the job because of her extensive pet sitting experience. Meghan was a reliable pet sitter and was diligent in coming over at our requested times. She did a wonderful job following all of the feeding instructions and went above and beyond keeping us updated with daily texts and pictures. Our pets enjoyed Meghan just as much as we did. I would gladly request her to watch our pets again!

I live in an apartment that has nice walking paths and several near-by areas to give your pup exercise and enrichment since I don’t have a house with an attached yard. I have experience with many different breeds both big and small. I am comfortable with walking, crating, harnessing, giving medication, taking along in the car and to places, hiking, and more. When your pup is in my home, they will be treated as if they were my own. Our home is your pup’s home. This means they are free to be on the couch/bed and enjoy the space freely if that’s what they’re used to at your home as long as they do not have destructive tendencies or potty training difficulties. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment for your pup that feels like their home away from home.

Before having the chance to meet your sweet pets, I would love to know their temperament or any particular guidelines for meeting them for the first time. I want to know how I can make your pet feel most comfortable and loved with me! I would also like to be aware of any health concerns, if any!
A typical day
I love taking doggos on hikes, walks in the park or around the apartment perimeters, or even out to explore the town! Before taking your pet anywhere, though, it is my priority to verify what you as the pet owner are okay with. I will never take your dog somewhere that was not cleared by you!

Availability
My school schedule varies a bit from day-to-day, but the longest I would generally need to be away from home at a time is 4 hours. When I’m not at school, you can pretty much count on me being home or if I do go out somewhere I love to bring your fur babe with me if that’s something they enjoy! My husband works from home a lot of the time, so even when I’m gone there’s a good chance he will be there to entertain! :)
