I’ve always loved dogs and I’ve volunteered at several shelters throughout my life. My family has a four year old cavapoo. I volunteer with the Brandywine Valley SPCA walking dogs who are waiting to be adopted.

I know that dogs need comfort and reassurance when they are with someone new. I am sensitive to their feelings in stressful situations. Sometimes I sit with dogs at the shelter and snuggle them or hand feed them to provide comfort.

A typical day
I will walk dogs patiently and carefully and allow them to sniff, get exercise, and go to the bathroom. I will also give them comfort and love.

Availability
I am available weekdays and some weekends for walks. I am also interested in pet sitting for families who travel. My 13 year old daughter also volunteers at the shelter and loves dogs and would be able to assist me with jobs when she is available.
