Just to tell you a little bit about myself, my name is Meghan! I am hoping to get a few dog walking jobs while I attend law school! I am a current law student at UConn Law who is a reliable, trustworthy, dog lover looking to make some extra money and get much-needed study breaks by walking dogs! I have experience with drop-in dog walks, feeding, sitting, and play. I am currently the dog owner of a 3-month-old terrier mix named Tilly. My boyfriend and I just adopted her in December. She is a kind, gentle, people-loving pup who LOVES long walks in my neighborhood. In fact, she's the reason I decided to become a pet sitter! I have a valid driver's license and am excited to meet new pups through Rover! I hope that I can assist you and your family and keep your furry friend company during busy work weeks.

Meghan is wonderful and caring dog sitter and walker! She walked my two dogs for 2 years while she was in college and now that she has graduated, they miss her so so much. My labradoodle loved Meghan so much that my kids would get jealous of their connection! My Great Dane loved when he would get Meghan all to himself on walks because that meant they got to run around the backyard! She is extremely reliable and treats all the dogs she takes care of like they are her own. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for an individual to give their dog(s) the best care and love anyone can offer.
Meghan loves dogs! She loves going on walks, keeping them active, but also enjoys just cuddling with her furry friends. She is great with all dogs, from puppies to senior dogs. She is always reliable and punctual. She is a great dog walker/sitter!

I truly believe that all dogs (regardless of breed or background) are kind and just looking for love. I want to be able to give dogs the love they long for and make sure they don’t get too lonely during long work days. A few things I would love to know about your dog are: What kind of activities does he or she like? Catch? Long walks? Running outside? Do you have a belly rubbing or butt scratching pup? Does your pup love to cuddle or does your pup not like personal contact? Are there boundaries I should know about? Anything that frightens or makes your dog uneasy? I find that even the smallest things can sometimes scare dogs or make them anxious, and the last thing I want to do it make your furry friend afraid or nervous. Young and playful or older and laid back? I just want to know the quirks of your dog(s) so I can provide the best care!
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood are my favorite! My dog Ruby and I love to take hour long walks and even stop at an open field near my house to play when the weather is nice! Depending on the dog, I would love to run with them or even take a nice slow walk to give them some fresh air. Playing catch and tug of war are some of my dog’s favorite things to do; but even giving Ruby a nice belly rub is something I love to do too. Have a dog who loves to be pet? I would love to give him or her the extra attention they deserve!
