Peace of mind while you’re gone!

Pet care experience

I’m Meghan and I’m so excited to watch your pet! Dogs are the greatest, more than anything, I appreciate the comfort and routine dogs bring to your life. Dogs make me happy, and there’s nothing better than unconditional love. I pride myself on my communication skills with my clients - I always respond to questions in a timely manner, and I make sure to send picture and text updates throughout the day. I had a dog for 13 years, and I’ve also taken care of my family’s and friends’ animals. I used to volunteer at the Humane Society and worked for a pet care company. I’m able to care for other animals too - I have experience with cats, rodents, reptiles, birds, and even hedgehogs! I’m able to administer medication and have done so in the past with some of my kitty clients. I don’t have breed or size preferences because all dogs are lovable and fun! When I’m not pet sitting, I spend a lot of time at the gym. However, my favorite thing is relaxing with friends who also have dogs, so we all spend time together socializing with our animals. I understand the stress of having to leave your pup behind while you’re out, but I guarantee they’ll receive all the love and care in the world. I love animals and treat them all as if they were my own.

Meghan was great. My pup was very exited to meet a new person and was very active when she arrived. She handled him well , correcting him as needed but also embracing and playing with him . I’ll use her again in the future.

Megan was wonderful.. came over twice for a meet and greet. She was right on time for coming to our home and she sent us pictures and videos and made us feel like our dogs were in great hands and safe. I highly recommend her.

Meghan was able to fit Louann in her schedule last minute. She is a great communicator and we will definitely book walks with her in the future.

Thank you so much, Meghan! Woodrow is always so happy when he knows you are coming and you always exceed his expectations. :-) So glad to hear he was moving well for you today. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our boy!

Information Meghan H. would like to know about your pet

My number one thing is making sure your dog has a chance to warm up to me. I like to have a meet-and-greet so that you and your pet can meet me and make sure we are good matches for each other. I tend to carry treats in my pocket so that I can let your pup sniff me and grow comfortable before taking the treat from my hand. In order to provide the best care possible, I’d like to know if they’re friendly or shy, if they jump a lot or are strong and pull on a leash, how they are around other dogs, how many treats (if any) they are allowed to have, what their typical schedule is like, and anything else that would be helpful to know.

A typical day

My schedule is open, so I have all the time in the world to keep your doggie entertained! I have a large fenced-in yard, and I live near several dog parks and hiking trails. My favorite spot is Harold Parker Forest because there’s lots of room to run around in the woods. There’s also plenty of options for nice walks, if your dog enjoys walking more than running. There’ll be plenty of indoor play-time as well, so no matter the weather, your pup will have plenty to do! They’ll never be left alone - regardless of what we do during the day, they’ll always be with me.
