Want someone who's as obsessed with your pet as you are? Who's been caring for pets her whole life, including volunteering at the local shelter and having worked at the zoo in past years? Then look no further! I've cared for and trained animals of every type, from dogs and cats to lizards and armadillos. And, as a professional photographer, I work with dogs, cats and more all the time at photo sessions. I have lots of experience training with positive reinforcement and clickers, as well as caring for animals with special medical needs. And, as a shelter volunteer, I'm well-versed in safety practices, canine behavior, and walking dogs that are reactive or difficult to control. I'd love to take care of your furry friends!

I get very nervous introducing my dog to new people, because he is a rescue who can be difficult with strangers in my home, but Meghan was great and my dog warmed up to her quickly. One of the smoothest introductions to a new visitor in my home that I've had! During our meet & greet she asked good questions that reassured me that she was familiar with dog behavior (such as how he was with resource guarding, eye contact, etc.) and overall made me feel confident that she knew what she was doing and that Oso was in good hands. Bonus that she is a photographer so took some very cute photos. I (and Oso) look forward to future visits from Meghan!

Meghan was a real pleasure to work with! She was a solid communicator, treated Zeno well and showed him affection. while there. She also was very respectful of my place. I have worked with her twice and will not hesitate to call her again. Bonus... she is a great pet photographer!
Meghan is a great dog sitter! She is very nice and responds quickly for bookings. When meeting for appointments she is punctual and took the time to ask questions to get to know our dog and his routines. While sitting for our dog she appropriately shared updates, was respectful of our home, and took great care of him.

Please let me know about any reactive behavior, such as chasing small animals, being fearful of strangers, or preferring to stay away from other dogs. This will help me keep your pup and others safe and happy. I'd also love to know about any dietary restrictions or preferences your doggo may have.
A typical day
I love going for nice long walks, especially down by the river or in Fairmount Park, and I always let my canine companion spend as much time as they want sniffing and watching. I also love playing fetch and snuggling! If the owner approves, I'm also always up to grab my pooch friend a Pupaccino from a local coffee shop! I avoid dog parks for safety reasons, but I'm happy to visit one at the owner's request.
