I grew up around dogs as I had a parent who trained hunting dogs. I have taken care of cats for 17 years, and I have had the honor of pet sitting for both cats and dogs in my neighborhood for over a decade. This includes bathing, basic grooming, lots of playtime, and tons of walk/runs. It also means being a responsible caretaker and making sure I’m cleaning any messes indoors or outdoors that may happen. I have administered flea medication as well as oral medications- that is as far as my experience with giving medications goes. I entertain and exercise my cats by playing with them. They have a basket of toys, and sometimes they will bring me a toy depending on what mood they’re in! Three cats means 3 litter boxes! I ensure that they get cleaned twice a day and vacuum up any excess litter to make sure they have a clean environment (and so do I!). I brush my cats often so hairballs are rarely an issue. Dogs and cats mean the world to me. I am a calm, happy personality who gets along well with every dog I have had the pleasure of meeting with. I understand when a shy dog or cat needs their space, or when a rambunctious pet needs lots of playtime and affection.
