Pet care experience
I am a professional painter, working on my 2nd Master's degree in Chinese Medicine, and currently run a holistic wellness clinic currently in Santa Fe. I worked at a pet store and have learned a bit about pet nutrition and health. I am building my dog sitting experience presently and cared for my companion and best friend Bette the Beagle for 10 years. She lived for 15 years and recently passed away out on our horse ranch, so I have a lot of love to give to pets I care for especially since Bette's passing! I understand how important the well-being of a dog is and how important that trust is with the owner. I catered my life to caring for my dog, and would love to assist you however I can to care for your dog! I am a student and have a flexible schedule, and would be happy to work with you short term or long term depending on your needs! Please get in touch for a meet and greet.

Meghan is a truly compassionate and caring individual. I have seen her interact with her own pet Beagle and she is full of love and the spirit of adventure. Meghan's dog Bette is the happiest little Beagle there ever was! She [Meghan] is wonderful with canines of all shapes and sizes, and can be trusted to keep them safe and sound. If I had a dog, I would have absolutely no qualms about leaving it in Meghan's care.

Your dog will have several dog beds to choose from. I will be sure to take your pet on many walks and potty breaks. If I am caring for your pet in your home I will attend carefully to your directions, spend time with the pet as needed, and take the pet on walks to whatever extent you need! After living with a beagle for 10 years, I am very aware of watching what trouble she could get into, and am therefore very attentive!

Does your dog get along with other dogs?! Is your dog potty trained? What are your dogs favorite treats? Do they need any special attention? I am happy to give special attention. As my dog Bette aged, she needed quite a bit of extra care, and I am absolutely happy to provide that care!
A typical day
I would be sure to give lots of attention to your pup. I live out on a horse ranch and there is a ton of beautiful land to walk out here. I will always have your pet on a leash for safety but am happy to explore with your pet! If you are open to it I will take your dog into town on walks as well as hikes.

Quite well! I have an extremely flexible schedule and can accommodate most pet sitting and caring needs. I currently am showing only dog walks and visits however if it is the right fit I am happy to discuss a boarding option.
