Through fostering and volunteering with The Humane Society I was soon offered a role in the development department to spearhead their newest and largest annual event. I worked diligently in both event management and hands on animal care for several years before moving on to work for a private pet care company.  Private pet care offered me an opportunity to meet different pets constantly just like rescue work did, but it also ensured that pet parents would never feel overwhelmed by their responsibilities. After many overwhelmingly  successful years of running a pet care company with hundreds of clients and a continually growing staff, my husband and I decided to revisit an old dream of ours and move to sunny San Diego. In San Diego I have been focusing my every energy into educating pet parents and providing walks and adventures for dogs in my spare time as I am managing a dog daycamp headquartered in San Diego full time.
