Hi! I'm Meghan. I'm a certified dog trainer and walker. I completely understand when owners say their dogs are like their children. They mean the world to you. I am an elementary school teacher during the weekday, but my dog is the first thing that happens after I get out. I frequently stop by the local dog parks and trails to exercise and engage. I've pet-sat in middle school, high school, and college, and it has always been a very rewarding experience for everyone (both two- and four-leggers)! I have a flexible afternoon and weekend schedule and am readily available to discuss the care of the most important member of your family. I have a dog of my own and we would love to meet you!

Cannot thank Meghan enough for her help watching our very old, somewhat cranky dog for 10 days. It has been a long time since we left our dog with someone she didn't already know. Meghan visited twice before our leave to make sure our pup was comfortable and it's obvious she has a ton of experience with all dog personalities. Meghan was great about keeping me updated with messages and photos from beginning to end without me having to ask, which is something I super appreciate. Highly recommend!
Meghan managed our two dogs well, despite some unexpected happenings with the weather and the house. Our dogs seem happy and well cared for and the house is in good shape.
Meghan got a 5 paw rating for her ability to establish a connection with my dog (a “blankie prance” is not given to just anyone!!). Meghan updated us frequently with texts and pictures, left the house looking untouched, and the dog tired!!

All dogs in my care are leashed and tagged and collared. All dogs stay on leash unless inside or in a completely fenced in area. During the meet and greet I go over all dog to person and dog to dog expectations so I can set your dog up for success and keep consistent routines and protocols while you are away.

A typical day
I am up early for work. We start with mini training sessions or review of basic commands and a nice medium walk before I head to work. After work same thing on the other end. Hikes, dog parks if applicable, fetch and all activities are awesome!

I work as an elementary school teacher full time during the day. I am available around that schedule. If you are located near school I can check on dogs during the day.
