Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals since I was about 11 years old. I started by taking care of neighbors dogs and cats and soon got my own dog, Mario (seen in my profile picture). I trained Mario through a puppy class. Mario is now 14 and I have experience with his senior dog care needs like medical attention and needs around deaf/blindness. Since I started caring for animals I have also cared for birds, cats, and chickens. I now have a 9 year old rescue American Bull named Makai. I love playing, cuddling, and giving love to every animal I care for.

Meghan has been a very reliable, conscientious, and extremely loving and attentive caregiver to my dog for be many years. Some of my neighbors and friends have also used Meghan to care for their dogs and cats and they feel the same way. She comes highly recommended!
Highly recommend Meghan! My dog doesn’t warm up to everyone, but she warmed quickly to Meghan. She watched Zinnie for a long weekend & my house was left in excellent condition. My neighbor remarked how patient she was with my pup. The communication to coordinate the weekend was excellent. Two thumbs (& four paws) way up!
Meghan is a dog lover. She grew up with a small dog and currently cares for a dog. She loves getting love from and giving love to her pit bull Makai who is a BIG sweetie. She has helped me out before with my own dog and I’ve always trusted her to give him the best care, even when he was a puppy. Meghan is responsible and respectful. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter and walker.
Meghan has taken amazing care of both my elderly cat, with health needs, and one year old boisterous kitty. Meghan has great communication and I consistently felt responsible leaving the cats in her care. Coming home from trips was excellent as my home was very clean and my cats were safe and happy. Meghan has a love and intuition for all animals. I recommend her services to everyone !

A typical day
I love to go on long walks with dogs who have larger energy. With all pets, I am ready to play with their favorite toy. When a pet communicates it would like to relax together, I am happy to do so!

Availability
I work as a teacher. I am done working around 3:30 and can be available for walks/play promptly after work. I work in the New North End of Burlington and live in the East End of Burlington. I am very active and can happily take animals on long/high energy walks/runs if needed. I am also happy to spend requested amounts of time to socialize with your pet.
