Hello! I have been caring for animals for over 15 years, both my own and those of others. I have fostered dogs and puppies for several years, so I have experience with anxious dogs and administering medication. I have had a strong love of all animals my entire life and strive to bond with them and make them comfortable. I am able to pet sit in your home, board, drop in to check on your pup, or walk, run, or hike with your dog. Experienced with dogs of all ages and can provide exercise or snuggles as necessary! I work as a school counselor and feel most comfortable when caring for others (this includes pets). I will be off during the summers and school vacations, so I will have even more flexible availability during those months. I genuinely love being around dogs and look forward to meeting yours.

Megan went above and beyond for our pup on our first vacation out of town after moving. He was really nervous but she didn’t give up! By the end of the week, he was right at home.
Maggie had the best time with Meghan. We know, because Meghan sent photos all weekend of Maggie playing with toys and sticks (her favorite). We’ll definitely go back to Meghan whenever we need a dog sitter again!
Meghan and her family are absolutely wonderful. They made leaving our puppy feel much more comfortable for the weekend!

I live in a quiet neighborhood that is wonderful for walking dogs. I also live within a three minute walk of a large field/park. I am happy to take your pup to a dog park also! When I have athletic dogs with lots of energy I sometimes taking them hiking or out to join me on a run. When boarding dogs, they must have experience with children. I have two cats, but they can be put separately in the house when necessary.

A typical day
We will go for long walks and explore my nearby park. More energetic and athletic dogs can join me for a run or hike! We will also play fetch and play with toys, as well as get lots of love and affection!

Availability
I work full time during the school year, but am home early. I have school vacations and summers off so can be with pets full time at those times of the year. I’m also available weekends and evenings. I can only accept house sitting gigs on a case by case basis due to schedules and children. If school is in session, I am not available for drop ins or dog walking during the work day, but can be available before and after school depending on your location and needs.
