I have always been a dog lover. My mother gifted me with an AKC guide book when I was about 7 years old, which I immediately read front to back. I started watching the dogs in my childhood neighborhood by the time I reached 11 or 12 years old. To this day, I am the sort of person that can (and will) identify a Clumber Spaniel or a PBGV from a far distance. Though professionally I work as a writer, photographer, and designer on an independent contract basis, anything dog-related continues to be a passion of mine. I am fortunate in that my career path has allowed me to earn a living from home, and that oftentimes I am able to set my own hours. Since 2016, I have been boarding, sitting, and walking dogs on a consistent basis in Somerville and Cambridge. In the summer of 2019, my partner and I finally found a permanent home in a Watertown duplex, where we live with one additional roommate. Our house includes a fully enclosed private backyard and plenty of indoor room to play We have a hound dog of our own, Pluto, who gets along well with just about anyone (his playmates have ranged from Italian Greyhounds to Newfoundlands).
