It depends on the dog. I'll use mine as an example. Pico my chihuahua and I spend a lot of time snuggling, and we take naps together. Then we will play with his little toys he loves to pick all his toys out of his toy box and bring them to me. He is also a born natural pro at walking on a leash and he enjoys exploring. My dog Dublin is higher energy she loves when I say "pop!" that is when she knows she should jump up and down. She is more of the tug of war type of dog. She enjoys doing very fast zoomies! She loves to walk and explore as well.
