Welcome to our home! We currently have 2 dogs, Rex and Riley, who are looking for friends to play with and soak up the sun. Dogs who stay with us will have plenty of room to roam and time to play. Dogs will only be crated at night or when we leave the house. We have 2 small children who need their sleep so dogs must be crate trained and not anxious about a crate during those hours! Our children are great great with dogs; however, dogs must be great with our little people too! :) We prefer to meet with you and your pup on the weekends before 7 p.m to introduce the dogs and ensure everyone gets along! We hope you consider our place to keep your sweet pup! Plenty of belly rubs, love, and playtime to go around at our place. See you soon!

We took a family cruise for Thanksgiving minus one family member - Dez! This was the first time we were separated since Dez arrived in our home last Christmas. I am pleased to say that Dez has found a home away from home with Megan and Phil (and Mom). They have a big spacious yard which my daughter loved right off the bat since we have a big yard as well. I was a little worried at first because Dez has not had any interaction with other dogs, but I'm glad that Rex and Riley took care of Dez like a little brother. We loved the pictures! This let us know Dez was in good hands. The idea of bringing some item that had our scent on it was terrific!! When Megan sent a message to me about that....I was like what a great idea!! and that's what we (I) needed ....a host who could think of everything!!! Great "appaws" is given to Megan and Phil. We definitely had no worries on this trip and have found a home away from home for Dez. Thanks again!!
we give Megan 15 stars! this is the first time ever when we could enjoy our vacation knowing Blizzy is in great hands and most likely having more fun than at home with us. First we went for Meet and greet (which Megan encourages) and we stayed for almost an hour chatting and Blizzy got to know and play with Rex and Riley. Both dogs are super sweet and obvously enjoy being big brothers to other pups. Megan is a wonderful caring girl who gives as much love to other pups as she gives to hers. When we were leaving meet and greet i felt great about leaving the pup with her. Megan has a fenced in yard and the pups were playing outside all the time. I received daily pics and updates through text messages and Blizzy got tons of exercise. Blizzy cried the first night and kept Megan up, but Megan was very understanding and did everything to make Blizzy comfortable and succeeded! When i came to pick Blizzy up she was happy to see me, but seemed sad to leave, really! the next day she was still moping around missing Megan and her husband, Rex and Riley.
Megan is the BOMB! 5 Paws ++! I couldn't have asked for a better host! She let me drop my dogs off at 11:00 pm after spending hours in traffic. She sent me great pics all day of my dogs and man did they have fun. A great fenced in yard and fun all day long. I plan on using her in the future!
Megan did an outstanding job. Upon our arrival she was very welcoming, showed us her beautiful house and backyard, introduced us to her two lovely dogs and made us feel very comfortable. During the stay she send us updates and some pictures of dogs playing and resting together. I definitively recommend Megan and I will try to book her again anytime we are in the DC area.
