Hey there - I’m Megan! I’m a lover of all animals with experience taking care of dogs, cats, and even a bunny. I have lots of experience taking care of others’ pets (especially dogs), and I am so, so excited to meet and take good care of your furry best friend!!

I have known Megan for six years now, and consider her a close friend! I'm so grateful to have her in my life, as she is as charismatic and funny, as she is caring and supportive. She has a very lively and positive presence, and truly loves animals too! Megan has always been someone that I can count on, so rest assured, your pet will be in great hands under Megan's care, as I know she will do her best to care for the unique needs of your pet!
Megan is an incredibly responsible and kind human being, and that translates into how she cares for pets. She's eager to build a bond with any dog in her care, and treats them as if they were her own. I definitely recommend her!
I took a bit of a gamble initially, since Megan didn’t have any reviews, but I really needed someone last minute. Wow I am lucky. She was so professional and accommodating with me and was such a lovely sitter for Quincy! I can’t recommend her highly enough. She even brushed her (pomeranian) after her last walk which was such a nice touch. Quincy can be an energetic fluff sometimes but looked so happy and content in the car ride back I know she was well cared for. Would definitely ask Megan to look after her again if the need arises.
Megan is an extremely caring person to both other humans and, of course, dogs! She has prior experience taking care of other friends' dogs, and she has always been super great with handling my own dog too! Along with being very understanding of how important our furry friends are to us owners, Megan is also able to comprehend the instructions she is given, and follows them well. She's always been a responsible person, and I know that she loves dogs too. I highly recommend Megan as a dog caregiver, and I even hope to hire her services myself in the future!

I offer care for pets in my clients’ homes and have experience administering oral medication, putting pets in/out of crates, providing food/water on a timely basis, and of course taking them outside when they need some fresh air and fun in nature!

If your dog has any triggers (squirrels, skateboarders, food on the ground, birds, etc.), tends to pull on leash, or if you have any preferences for how to walk them (at a heel, on a certain side, etc.), please let me know and I will be happy to accomodate.
A typical day
I love taking pups to explore the beautiful parks around the neighborhood, where they can sniff around/dig/play in the grass and just be themselves - McCarren is a favorite, as well as Marsha P Johnson and the park by the water on N 4th. If you are okay with your pup going to the dog park/run to run around off leash, I’m happy to take them there as well so they can play fetch and socialize with other dogs! I also love briskly walking or even jogging with pups so both they and I can get our exercise in :) If they pick up a stick during their walk, I’m happy to play a little tug of war with them to keep them happy and stimulated.

I’m working remotely currently, so I love to go out and walk pups during my breaks! I am also more than willing to head over to your home for a few hours for a more lengthy drop in or house sitting visit.
