I have almost always lived with dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, and such, but currently have an “empty nest”. My mom taught me a lot about responsibility and nurturing with our pets growing up. I am well versed in all dispositions, sizes and ages. As an adult, I have always adopted senior dogs that were having trouble finding homes. I have also fostered and volunteered for a pet sanctuary. I will often be seen crossing the street to meet a dog whether it was toward my destination or not. People often remark that I have a soothing way with animals and are surprised when they “take” to me quickly. I am honored when clients call me the “animal whisperer”.
