Pet care experience
I grew up with tons of pets... at one point we had over thirty different animals of different species! (Many came from a pregnant hamster we had). I've petsit, fostered, taken in strays, walked neighbor dogs, and taken care of many animals. They really are my favorite thing!

Megan clearly loves animals; she is kind and consistent and we were so glad to have her take care of our dogs. One of our dogs has hip dysplasia but loves to play fetch. She administered his daily vitamins for two weeks and stopped by for frequent potty and play breaks. Our dogs, Cocoa and Iggy, loved going on walks and Megan sent us pictures of them throughout our time away.
Megan is a wonderful person and has a passion for animals! I have known her for 4 years. She has taken care of my pet on several occasions and was so thoughtful! My backyard has a privacy fence, I have several crates in various sizes, and dedicated pet areas throughout the house for pets to play. We have three dogs and three cats, which can all be separated or join in on the fun depending on what you and your pets would prefer. At your home and at mine we can administer medication, work on special training skills, practice walking and get exercise, or just hang out and watch movies!

I would like to know if your dogs have any separation anxiety, anything they don’t like (ear scratches, tummy pets), have any guarding behavior, etc. I’m able to adjust my behavior for that, just so I know how to keep your pet most comfortable!
A typical day
I love the Columbus area trails. I ride bikes a lot through the trails and parks, so I would love taking your dogs there. My dogs also love the Scioto Audubon Dog Park. We love to play fetch, tug, and chase. My backyard is fenced with a privacy fence and has plenty of room to run and play, which makes at-home visits extra fun. If your pup would prefer we keep is casual, that’s cool, too! There are few things better than a quiet walk with a nice companion.

Availability
I am a Ph.D. Student at Ohio State and I am an instructor that works from home, so I have a lot of flexibility. I have time every day of the week to check in on your babies, have them join me at my house or take them for a walk. I spend every day caring for our variety of pets (including reptiles, fish, birds, cats, and dogs) and I would love to care for yours! I’m open to flexible on-demand kinds of bookings or set schedules. Set schedules have the benefit of the ability to build trust with your dog, which can be nice for everyone involved!
